Chapter 1
Let me Take you Back
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
"Hey and welcome back to Leilani’s Couch. This is where we talk about the real things—the wins, the losses, the pivots, and the purpose in the middle of it all. Today’s episode is for the woman who’s been trying to build something powerful… but feels like she’s been piecing it together alone. I know that feeling well—because that was me."
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
There’s this myth out there—especially for women, especially for us who are used to being the strong one—that we’re supposed to be self-sufficient all the time. Like, asking for help is some kind of weakness. But honestly, that’s just not true. And yet, it’s so hard to admit when we’re overwhelmed. I don’t know about you, but for me, it was almost like I was afraid to let anyone see the cracks. Like, if I just keep pushing, nobody will notice I’m struggling.
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
Let me take you back. I remember when I was launching my business—no blueprint, no guidebook, just grit. I had to figure out how to register my LLC, set up digital products, design flyers in Canva, write captions that felt like me, and create systems I didn’t even know the names of.
Chapter 2
The Power
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
And I was doing all of that while being a mom, wife, broker, and woman trying to protect her peace in a world that keeps pulling at your energy.I stayed up nights trying to Google my next move. But here’s what I learned:
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
Just because we’re strong enough to figure it out alone doesn’t mean we’re supposed to. What changed everything for me was realizing I wasn’t the only one searching for clarity, for tools, for someone to just show me the steps. That’s why I started creating what I wish I had: Simple, powerful, accessible tools for women like us—the ones with big ideas and quiet confidence.
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
So if you’ve ever said:“I want to launch something, but I don’t know how.”“I have a vision, but I need guidance.”“I wish there was just ONE place with everything I need...”Just know—I felt that too. That’s what inspired me to start building something new, something special. It’s not about selling. It’s about support.
Chapter 3
Reaching Out as a Radical Act of Self-Care
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
. So today’s reminder is this:You don’t need to do it all by yourself anymore. Ask for help.Look for alignment. And when the tools show up—use them. The resources are coming. The structure is coming. But more importantly, the shift in you has already started.
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
I want to walk with you on this journey. And when you’re ready to take that next step, I’ll be right here—with the blueprint, the heart, and the space for you to rise.
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
If anything I said today resonated, head over to bosswomenetwork.com/contact page and let’s stay connected. This journey isn’t easy—but it’s worth it when we stop doing it alone.
Leilani Anderson-Monroe
You’ve got this. And I’ve got you. Until next time…This is Laylonnie, and this was 10 minutes of motivation from the couch!
